Retrospective: April
Ist es wirklich wahr, dass der April vorbei und der Mai schon da ist? Ich kann den Sommer kaum erwarten, das Leben ist so viel schöner wenn die Sonne scheint, aber es wäre nicht fair sich über den April zu beschweren, denn eigentlich war er ein ziemlich cooler Monat. Lasst uns doch zusammen einen Blick darauf werfen, was auf dem Blog und auch sonst noch los war.
Was war los auf Anti.Muse?
So wie jeden Monat sind wir auch im April mit einer weiteren Ausgabe unserer monatlichen Rückschau "Retrospective" gestartet. Außerdem habe ich einen öffentlichen Liebesbrief an meinen Blog geschrieben, der am 17. April 4 geworden ist. Aus diesem Grund habe ich auch gefeiert mit einem kleinen Anti.Flohmarkt und ich bin immer noch jedem dankbar, der vorbeigekommen ist um mit mir anzustoßen. Oh und mein Liebesbrief wurde auch in Independent Fashion Bloggers "Links á la Mode" gefeatured. Außerdem habe ich die großartige Mariángeles von "Therapy + recycle and exorcise" in ihrem Studio in Berlin Mitte getroffen um mit ihr über ihr Label zu sprechen, welches im Mai auf Anti.Muse gefeatured wird - ich freue mich schon darauf.
Was war sonst noch los?
Als ob das alles noch nicht toll genug war, konnte ich im April die Gelegenheit nutzen, Oliver Rath, den ich mal als Berlins provokantesten Fotografen bezeichnen möchte, bei einem Shooting in seiner Factory über die Schulter zu schauen. Außerdem habe ich mir Chvrches angesehen, was super intensiv war. Darüber hinaus konnte ich in "Mein Haus am See" die Arbeiten des Künstlers The Pilgrim bewundern, ein Interview mit dem Franzosen ist bald auf dem Blog. Den Fashion Revolution Day habe ich auch gefeiert, nämlich im 25hours Hotel in Charlottenburg bei einer Fashion Swap Party. Mein persönliches Highlight war es aber, the one and only Rankin himself im KaDeWe bei der Arbeit für die Aktion #portraitofberlin zu beobachten - ich bewundere seine Arbeit schon so lange und halte sein Magazin Hunger für eines der besten, das derzeit auf dem Markt ist. Is it true that april is over and may is here? I can't wait for summer and for better days to come. I just think life is so much sweeter when there is sun, but it woudn't be fair to be nagging about april since it was a pretty cool month. Let's take a look back together at what went on in the last month.
On the Blog
So as with every month we started into april with another edition of our monthly review "Retrospective". I also wrote an open love letter to my blog in april on the occasion of it's fourth birthday which I celebrated with a little Anti.Fleamarket. I'm still grateful for everyone who came out to party with me. Oh and my love letter got featured in Independent Fashion Bloggers "Links á la Mode". I also got to meet up with the amazing Mariángeles of "Therapy + recycle and exorcise" in her studio in Berlin Mitte to talk about her brand which is gonna be featured on Anti.Muse in may - I'm looking forward to it and you should do too.
What else has been going on?
As if this wasn't enough amazingness already, I took the chance to go and see Oliver Rath doing his magic during a life shooting in his so called factory, which is in my opinion a melting pot of open mindedness and creativity. For those of you who don't know Oliver Rath - I consider him to be Berlins most provocative photographer at the time. I also went to see Chvrches live which is always intense. Further I got to see the amazing works of a french artist called The Pilgrim at "Mein Haus am See" - an interview with the artist will be up on the blog soon. Also I celebrated Fashion Revolution Day at the Fashion Revolution Swap Party in the super cool location of the 25hours hotel in Charlottenburg. One of my personal highlights was definitely seening the one and only Rankin doing his thing on the occasion of the #portraitofberlin event in the famous KaDeWe. I admire his work for so long and his magazine Hunger is currently one of the best on the market I think. Even more fun to go there if a friend of you is being photographed by him - an honour which was celebrated with burritos and champagne. How was your april? Let me know!
