Movie Inspired Fashion: W/E

by - März 01, 2014

Andrea Riseborough as Wallis Simpson

Abbie Cornish as Wally Winthorp

February was mild and friendly - it almost felt like sping, but january was grey and cold here in Berlin - so it was the best time to curl up on the sofa with a hot cup of tea and watch a good movie. Exactly this happend a few weeks ago, so finally I saw "W/E" - a brilliant movie by Madonna. As soon as the movie started I got soaked into another world because of the fantastic story telling, because of great actors, the beautiful soundtrack and the fabulous set- and costume design. I really fell in love with the look of the movie and of cause with the story behind. Beside the outfits of Wallis Simpson I really liked the look of Wally Winthorp, mostly dressed in black - classy, elegant and feminine. Do you know the movie and do you liked the look of Wally Winthorp too?

Wally's wardrobe is kind of classy goth - black & feminine:

Paul & Joe (329,- €)  Philosophy Di Alberta Ferretti (437,- €)
Prabal Gurung (742,- €)  Preen (738,- €)

  2. You look so lovely! Beautiful photos. I haven't seen the movie, but this has piqued my interest. I can see myself wearing a sober but slightly goth-inspired dress like those (very nice selection, by the way!) paired with some crazy tights or leggings. And chunky boots, of course... :-)
