DIY: The Skull Makeover

by - Oktober 02, 2013

Some inspiration from: ebay, hodihomedecor /etsy, nashpop /etsy, hab und gut, you and me boutique.

It's only a few days until Halloween and also Dia de los Muertos is near. So what better time, to prepare your home therefor?! What about a skull in your favourite colour?! Maybe you have, just like me, as reminiscence of old goth times an old skull somewhere in the back of your closet. Then now is the time to give this dude a makeover. Just get yourself a spray can in the colour of your desire - what about yellow, pastel pink or silver?! Do whatever you like, just don't forget to put some gloves on as you spray the colour on the skull or else you will look like Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz for example, which happend in my case ;)

This is what happend to my old gothic skull - he turned silver.

Now the skull can be used for several occasions: he can wear your sunglasses, he can be a bookend, a paper weight - whatever you want him to be.
