Jetzt, da eine neue Woche anfängt, habe ich wieder "Shortcuts - Bits 'n Pieces from the world of Alternative Fashion and Culture" für euch. In der mittlerweile 11. Ausgabe meiner persönlichen, wöchentlichen News Rubrik, in der ich euch von für mich spannenden Dingen erzähle, über die ich im Laufe einer Woche gestolpert bin, berichte ich euch von einem grandiosen Kunst Projekt und von der Kollektion, die im Augenblick mein Herz höher schlagen lässt.

Hey friends of Anti.Muse, did you have a good weekend? I hope so. For me it was about festival of lights, a book release party and chilling out here in Berlin. Now that a new week is starting, I have some "Shortcuts - Bits 'n Pieces from the world of Alternative Fashion and Culture" for you. In my meanwhile 11th edition of this personal, weekly news rubric, I'll tell you about about an amazing art project and about the collection my heart is beating for at the moment. Here we go.

Ich kann einfach nicht fassen, wie unglaublich schön die Bilder von Inge Prader für die Style Bible des diesjährigen Life Ball sind! Ich bin riesengroßer Gustav Klimt Fan, besonders die Bilder seiner "Goldenen Phase" hatten es mir schon immer schwer angetan, um so mehr stockt mir nun der Atem beim Anblick dieser Fotografien, die in Anlehnung an Klimts Gemälde für die sogenannte Style Bible des Life Ball entstanden sind. Der Life Ball des karitativen Vereins Aids Life ist nicht nur eine ziemlich glamuröse Sause (wie man unschwer an der Style Bible erkennen kann), sondern auch die größte Benefiz-Veranstaltung Europas. Der Verein Aids Life unterstützt nationale und internationale Non-Profit Organisationen, die sich für HIV-Positive und an Aids-erkrankte Menschen einsetzen.

I simply can not get over how beautiful the pictures by Inge Prader for this years so called Style Bible of the Life Ball are! I'm a huge Gustav Klimt fan, especially of the works of his "Golden Phase", so I was amazed to find out about this breathtaking project for a good cause. The Life Ball is not just a big glamourous party, it's also Europes biggest benefit event to support non-profit organisations who work to promote awareness and public consciousness about HIV and Aids.

Die Designerin Olympia Le Tan ist bekannt geworden durch ihre zuckersüßen Buchcover Clutches. Von "Alice im Wunderland" bis "Sleeping Beauty", die limitierten Handtaschen wurden schnell zu begehrten Sammlerobjekten. Mit der gleichen Raffinesse entwirft Le Tan seit 2012 auch komplette Ready-to-Wear Kollektionen. Geprägt von ihrer ausdrucksstarken Handschrift, hat sie vor Kurzem in Paris ihre SS16 Kollektion "Sentimantal Journey" gezeigt, in die ich komplett verknallt bin. Weite Kimonoärmel, breite Gürtel, Shibari-Seile, die Farben schwarz, rot, gold und pink in Kombination - Inspiration und Japonismus pur!

The designer Olympia Le Tan is known for her sickly sweet bookcover clutches. From "Alice in Wonderland" to "Sleeping Beauty", the limited handbags quickly became collector's items. With just the same refinement she's designing ready-to-wear collections since 2012 as well. Characterised by her strong and unique signature, she recently presented her SS16 collection "Sentimantal Journey" in Paris. And what else is left to say? Wide Kimono sleeves, wide belts, Shibari ropes everywhere and the colours red, black, pink and gold in combination - I'm head over heels in love with this collection.
