Aloha ihr Lieben, ich hoffe es liegt ein fantastisches Wochenende hinter euch? Ich habe meins unter anderem im "Museum für Film und Fernsehen" verbracht und freue mich schon auf die neue Woche. Die bringt nämlich auch einige Highlights mit sich, von denen ich euch in meiner bereits achten Ausgabe von "Shortcuts - Bits 'n Pieces from the World of Alternative Fashion and Culture" erzählen will. Unter anderem feiert die Alternative Fashion Week Berlin ihren ersten Geburtstag und das Arte Fashion Weekend steht mal wieder an, außerdem ist ein bisschen Online-Shopping angesagt, ich habe nämlich "Little Whip" entdeckt und bin verliebt in deren neuste Kollektion.

Hey folks, hope you had a fantastic weekend? I was, among other things, in the "Museum für Film und Fernsehen" here in Berlin, celebrating their 15th birthday. Now I look forward to a new week with my 8th episode of "Shortcuts - Bits 'n Pieces from the World of Alternative Fashion and Culture". This week I have for you the first birthday of Berlin Alternative Fashion Week, Arte's fashion weekend and a cute little brand named Little Whip.

Die Alternative Fashion Week Berlin feiert Nonkonformität und mittlerweile ihren ersten Geburtstag. Anti.Muse wird dabei sein - ich kann es kaum erwarten, zu den Shows zu gehen und euch davon zu berichten. Über 12 internationale Designer und Künstler werden bei den verschiedenen Shows und auch auf einem Designer Market ihre Kollektionen präsentieren. Ich freue mich, diese Plattform für kreative Mode und innovative Fashion Konzepte zum ersten Mal zu besuchen - stay tuned. || Berlin Alternative Fashion Week is celebrating non-conformity and it's their first birthday already. Anti.Muse is gonna be there and I can't wait to tell you all about it. About 12 international designers and artists are showing their collections in different shows. There will also be a Designer Market. I'm looking forward to visit this platform for creative fashion and innovative fashion concepts for the first time - stay tuned for more.

Es ist wieder soweit, das Arte Arte Fashion Weekend verspricht ein Programm abseits von Trash TV. In diesem Jahr werden wir unter anderem mit der Premiere des Dokumentarfilms "Das Testament des Alexander McQueen" (26.09. um 21:40 Uhr) und einem Elsa Schiaparelli Portrait (27.09. um 23:00 Uhr) verwöhnt. Ausnahmsweise lohnt es sich mal, den Fernseher einzuschalten. Viel Spaß! || It's that time again! Arte's fashion weekend is always a good alternative to the common trash tv. This year they come up with a new Alexander McQueen documetary and an Elsa Schiaparelli portrait. Sounds like a good reason to give tv a chance for once. Are you gonna watch?

In der vergangenen Woche habe ich Little Whip entdeckt - und der Name, ich sag es euch gleich, ist Programm. Little Whip ist ein kleines, aber feines und spezielles Label, das sich ungeniert und mit Humor zu einer bestimmten Vorliebe bekennt. Da findet man auf T-Shirts Handschellen und Peitschen oder zuckersüße Bondage- und High Heel Pins und Patches. Das ist was für Liebhaber einer besonderen Spielart - meine Bestellung geht diese Woche raus. || Last week I came across Little Whip - and let me tell you, their name is program.
