Hey und Hallo! Der ein oder andere hat es schon bemerkt, Anti.Muse ist zurück aus dem Dornröschenschlaf - wir sind wieder da und haben zwei neue Rubriken im Gepäck. Wöchentlich gibt es am Montag die Shortcuts, die wenn man so will, meine persönlich kuratierten Nachrichten aus der Welt von Alternative Fashion und Culture sind. Den Freitag haben wir zum Fashion Film Friday erkoren, was bedeutet, dass jeden Freitag an dieser Stelle ein Fashion Film vorgestellt wird. Neben diesen beiden neuen Rubriken wird es aber weiterhin auch Altbewährtes wie "Style Icon", "Movie Inspired Fashion"oder die Interview-Rubrik "What would your muse be ..."geben.

Every monday we come up with "Shortcuts - Bits 'n Pieces from the World of Alternative Fashion and Culture" whereas fridays we present a fashion film in our second new rubric "Fashion Film Friday". Besides our two new categories you'll still find well-tried stuff like "Style Icon", "Movie Inspired Fashion" or our interview-series "What would your muse be ..." here on Anti.Muse.

André Boitard habe ich vergangene Woche im Coffee Shop Factory Girl entdeckt, also nicht ihn persönlich, aber seine abgefahrenen Postkarten und Kunstwerke, die man dort käuflich erwerben kann. Boitards Werke sind Collagen-Kunst, sie sind Pop Art, Kitsch der schönen Sorte, farbenfroh und ikonografisch wie Kirchenfenster. Hauptmotiv ist meist ein Charakter, der selber schon "Pop" ist, wie z.B. Andy Warhol, Marilyn Monroe, David Bowie oder aber auch Sid & Nancy. Aktuell stellt André Boitard grade in List auf Sylt aus, wer Glück hat trifft den Künstler aber auch mal in Berlin auf der Straße, wo er seine Karten und Werke u.a. in verschiedenen Cafés verkauft. || I came across André Boitard in the coffee shop Factory Girl last week. They sell his postcards and have some of his collages on the wall. His mixed media art is Pop Art, is kitsch in a good kind of way, colourful and iconographic like church windows. The main motives are pop culture characters like Andy Warhol, Marilyn Monroe, David Bowie or Sid & Nancy. At the moment André Boitard exhibits in List, Sylt, but with a little luck you'll meet the artist in the streets of berlin, where he is selling his stuff in cafés from Boxhagener Platz to Schlesisches Tor.

Noritaka Tatehana hat ihn in Kollaboration mit Iris van Herpen entworfen für ihre Herbst/Winter 2015-16 Kollektion "Hacking Infinity". Mit dem Design haben die beiden nicht nur den Nerv der Zeit getroffen, sondern auch mitten in mein Herz ;) || If you want to know what I'm dreaming of in my sleep these nights, it's this shoe. For real, isn't this shoe breathtakingly beautiful? Noritaka Tatehana designed it in collaboration with Iris van Herpen for her Fall/Winter 2015-16 collection "Hacking Infinity" and they not just hit the nerve of time with the design of this shoe but also my heart ;)

Pop Up Fashion Berlin ist wieder da! Der Concept Store in der Brunnenstraße 190 featured immer wieder unterschiedliche Designer und Künstler. In der Augustausgabe sind u.a. Myrrh Jewelry, Aerial Derivatives, Martin Margiela Vintage und Kunst von Elisabeth Delfs mit dabei. || Pop Up Fashion Berlin is back! The concept store in Brunnenstraße 190 integrates high quality design, fashion and art. It is at the same time a platform for young designers to show and sell their products in a curated shop context. In the august edition for example Myrrh Jewelry, Aerial Derivatives, Martin Margiela Vintage and art from Elisabeth Delfs are featured.
