Ein neuer Freitag, ein neuer Fashion Film. Falls ihr es verpasst habt, Freitag ist "Fashion Film Friday" auf Anti.Muse, dass heißt jede Woche am Freitag hab ich einen neuen, wunderbaren Fashion Film für euch im Gepäck. Es gibt einfach so viele schöne Fashion Filme da draußen und da Anti.Muse ein Ort ist, an dem Kreativität, Mode und Kunst geschätzt, geliebt und gehuldigt werden, dachte ich, es wäre schön eine Rubrik zu haben, die das alles mal vereint.

Nachdem wir also in den vergangen Wochen einen Abstecher in ein düster-glitzerndes Märchen gemacht haben, das ABC der Aussprache der schwierigsten Namen der Fashion Branche gelernt haben und AyaBambi in Hussein Chalayan haben tanzen sehen, reisen wir jetzt in die Wüste.

"In the desert sun" ist ein Fashion Film von Selfridges "The Film Project", bei dem sieben Designer gefragt wurden, einen Director ihrer Wahl zu bitten, in einem Kurzfilm die Essenz der modernen Frau einzufangen. Ann Demeulemeester hat sich mit Michael Pitt zusammen getan und "In the desert sun" ist das wunderschöne Ergebnis dieser Zusammenarbeit.

Another friday, another fashion film. If you've missed it, this is my "Fashion Film Friday", where every friday I come up with a nother fierce fashion film to kick start your weekend. There are just so many brilliant, wonderful fashion films out there and since Anti.Muse is a place where we celebrate and appreciate fashion, creativity and art, I thought it would be nice to have a rubric dedicated to fashion film, where music, fashion and film combine in a very poetic way.

So after taking a trip to a dark and gloomy fairytale, after learning the A-Z of pronunciation of the hardest names in fashion and after watching AyaBambi performing in Hussein Chalayan we now travel to the desert.

"In the desert sun" is a fashion film from Selfridges "The Film Project", where seven designers where asked to pick a director of their choice to capture the essence of the modern woman in a short movie. Ann Demeulemeester teamed up with Michal Pitt and "In the desert sun" is the beautiful result.
