What would your muse be ... Aleks Kurkowski?

by - Februar 23, 2015

What would your muse be ..."

The Berlin based designer Aleks Kurkowski.

What would your muse be if it was ...

a book: "The sorrows of young Werther" by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
a movie: Blade Runner
a city or place: A small meadow in the middle of a forest
a sound or tune: Silence
a magazine: I don't read magazines
an inspirational quote or a motto: "Trotze, so bleibt dir der Sieg." from Friedrich Hebbel which means "Defy and you'll keep the victory.".
an artist: Rick Owens, Caspar David Friedrich
a style icon: I don't have any

Black, edgy, sustainable - this is an attempt to describe what Aleks Kurkowskis designs are all about. After seeing her latest collection "romanticism & reality" at Berlin Fashion Week we instantly became fans of the Berlin-based designer. Her fashion is minimalistic but expressive, characterful and timeless - Avantgarde made in Berlin. That made us curious, we wanted to know more about the label. So this time in our rubric "What would your muse be ... ", you get to find out what the designer Aleks Kurkowski is inspired by.

Who not only wants to read but shop Aleks Kurkowski better shows up her new studio in Berlin on the 7th of March for a Get Togehter Stock & Sample Sale with the opportunity to save up to 70% on men's- and womenswear.
